General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* Instance itching is suggestive of a type I hypersensitivity reaction mediated via IgE of the immune system of the body.

* If the itching does not subside within a period of 10 - 15 minutes, an ER visit is recommended to control it before worsens in terms of hypotension or other features.

It would be better for him to avoid the same stuff next time to avoid such instances.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
