What Causes Itching And Redness On The Arms?

Have a red itchy arms and a small amount on the back of my neck,,Ice pack takes the heat out of it and helps for a bit ,,,l have a cat and it sleeps on my bed l itch lot at night and don t sleep much because of it ,,The cat only sleeps on top of the bed and it sleep ,She doesn t get on the during the day it only when l go to bed she gets up , Is there any thing l can buy over the counter to help ,Have bought Phenergan 20mg it help but doesn t go away, Pam

Hi, It seems to be an allergic reaction, most possibly because of your cat.
I recommend continue using Phenergan for itching. try and stay away from your cat for a few days. If the itching decreases during that time then it is definitely allergy to cat ...may be its hairs.
If so I recommend getting rid of the cat if you can do it. Or meet an allergist and try for desensitization.
