What Causes Itching And Soreness After Anal Intercourse?

I used to feel itchy one day after sex with my husband. I have found some fucidin antibiotic cream in the bathroom. I have seen him putting cream on himself before. He always tries to have anal sex with me but I stop him just short of penitration but I hate it. Sex is too sore for me now and I don't sleep with him. Ocassionally I give him oral sex because I feel guilty. But he is 68 and I am 57 and I'm fed up with the whole thing. Did he infext me with a sexually transmitted desease by playing around the anus?

Hallow Dear,

Since you do not like anal sex, it is very likely that you are resisting it involuntarily by contracting the anal muscle sphincters. Therefore, your husband finds it difficult to insert into your anus; hence he must have used Fucidin antibiotic cream as a lubricant to make the insertion easier.

You might have some allergy to the Fucidine which could have caused itching. The other possibility is that you might have developed fungal infection which is known after antibiotics.

Please report to your Gynecologist/STI specialist for appropriate diagnosis and treatment. Fungal infection may be treated with local antifungal ointments.

Hence forward, use some water based lubricant for smooth insertion, oil based lubricants are harmful to your genital organs. Vaginal jellies are good for this purpose. By using such lubricants, you may have easy vaginal intercourse and then he may not opt for anal one.

I hope this helps you.
