for close to a week my vagina has been itching, has been very sore at vaginal opening, and feels like a small knot on the lip of my vagina. Recently there has been brown discharge. . There were 3 small white spots on my clit before the itching and soreness began.Notice them about 3-4 before the yeast infection like symptoms started. Im currently on birth control and two nights ago began using monistat3. After two days of using monistat the itching hasn t stopped or eased up. My vaginal hole seems swollen and extreme pain when trying to have sexual penetration. I haven t had any cottage cheese like discharge only brown smelly discharge that looks like stool. Is this a yeast infection or something much worse.???
