What Causes Itching And Swelling On Leg After Snake Bite Treatment?
Hello, My brother was bitten by snake on dt. 03.10.2012. Snake bitten on his leg. He was admitted in Government hospital. Hospital discharge him on dt. 08.10.2012 saying that he is OK. But, now there is itching and swolling in his leg. Please let me know what to do?

Symptoms of snake bite depends on venom.If venom is poisonous then it can cause severe reactions and death.But in some cases it is not harmful and produces local reaction on the site of bite as in your brothers case.You need not to worry much.Antibiotics,antiinflammatory drugs with magsulf dressing will work.
