What Causes Itching And Swollen Lumps On Anus?

For a couple months I get woke up with major itchy anal way inside. I have taken pinworm medication and also used hemmroid creams to help. I ve looked up inside and and feel that it might be a little swollen with a little reddish lump on two sides that itch. I ve looked at pics of internal hemmroid and my lumps don t hang., also when I go put cream inside and from getting woke up it does help, what do u think I have?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you have internal and external hemorrhoids. As this has been going on for a couple of months now, I think it is the best thing to check it out with proctologist and run anoscopy. This is the best way to give a final diagnosis.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
