What Causes Itching And Tickling Sensation In Throat?
I have itching and tickling in my throat that started two days before having the flu in December five months ago and it hasn t stopped what could it be? Three weeks after the flu I was given a Z pack and it helped a little but it seems to be worse and now my ears itch and tickle sometimes with it.
Thanks for your query . Itching and tickling generally occur due dryness which is caused by infection or allergy .
I would suggest you to suck on candy to prevent dryness , drink plenty of water ,do warn saline rinses and take over the counter antihistamine like benadryl .
If condition still persist then consult ENT specialist (ear, nose, throat) for proper examination. Doctor may prescribe antibiotic course (amoxicillin) .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
