What Causes Itching Around A Nexplanon Implant On The Arm?

Hi! I got my implant about a month ago and my arm has a constant itch to it just where the nexplanon is. The implantion also feels like it is super close to the surface of my skin. When you rub your fingers crossed it, it feels like it is buldged out and can be see where it is at. What could be the cause of this?

Hi,

Your symptoms seem to be related to a reaction from the implant.

I suggest you antihistamines for the itching. I also suggest consulting your doctor for a physical examination and further treatment.
