Hi there and thanks for sharing your health concern with us at HCM.

I am concerned that you might have an anal fistula. An anal fistula is a small channel that can develop between the end of the bowel (rectum) and the skin near the anus. An anal fistula often happens after someone has had an anal abscess that did not completely heal. The constant oozing and burning you are experiencing suggests a chronic, ongoing infection.

You will need to consult your doctor and let him or her examine you. He or she needs to identify the opening of the fistula. The goal of treatment is to eliminate this abnormal channel and the infection, prevent recurrence of the fistula and preserve your ability to control your bowels. There are many methods employed to properly tackle this problem, your doctor will be able to discuss the most suitable one for yourself with you.

I understand that this is rather embarrassing for you but do rest assured that doctors see problems like this all the time and it is our job to get you well. There is no over-the-counter method that will properly tackle this problem. I hope I have answered your question to your satisfaction.

Do take care and good luck.
