What Causes Itching Around Vagina After Unprotected Sex When On UTI Medication?

I have a uti and am on medication and about 4 days after I had unprotected sex. Now I'm having an itching around my vagina but it's only sometimes and goes away if I stop scratching. I'm not sure if it's an std or possibly a yeast infection from the uti and having sex

Hello,

It could most likely be a yeast infection due to taking antibiotics, Vaginal examination and swab microscopy can confirm the diagnosis. If confirmed management with topical Lotrimin or a single dose of fluconazole 150 mg can be done.

Hope this answers your query
