What Causes Itching At The Bottom Of The Feet And Bigger Calf Muscles?

Hi , I am a 35 years old female. Weight 182lbs, Height 5 feet 1 inch. About 2 weeks ago, I felt itchiness at the bottom of my feet when I get out of bed in the morning. But it stops when I start walking. I also noticed an indentation on the lateral side of my legs, just below my calf, and I notice my calf muscle got bigger. it does not hurt, but I am worried. Any suggestions?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to a fungal infection.

I would recommend using antifungal medication such as Fluconazole.

I also recommend using an antifungal cream for local application.

I recommend to wash and dry frequently the area.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
