What Causes Itching, Burning And Redness To The Eyes?

Hello! One of my eyes has been red, itchy and burning on the inside, and slightly swollen on the outside (part of the eyelid and underneath the eye) for a couple of days now. Is there any over-the-counter medication that you would recommend, or should I seek medical attention right away? Thank you!
