HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Unilateral swelling may be due to infection or trauma to the area. It may also occur as a part of a inflammatory reaction to the some chemical agent that came into contact with the area.

The application of a mild topical steroid cream may help. In addition a topical antifungal may be needed. Fungal infections are the most common in this area.

I hope this helps
