What Causes Itching Feeling Inside Penis?

Hi doctor, my boyfriend has been experiencing an itching in the inside of his penis.. He says it comes after we have sex and its obviously not an itch he can scratch but its irritable to the point we dont have sex anymore it comes and goes and this past week its come again.. Hes tried thrush treatment.. Another doctor said it could be allergy and hes tried chlamydia tablets.. And it still comes, please help.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The itching is probably due to infection and certain investigations are required to find out the cause of infection.
An urine examination and semen analysis are required to know the cause of infection.
If infection is detected on urine and semen analysis, urine/ semen culture need to be done.
The growth on culture should be followed by drug sensitivity to isolate the organism and to select most appropriate antibiotic against the infectious agent.
Unprotected sex should be practised till infection clears away.
