What Causes Itching In Buttocks And Scalp During Periods?

Around the time of my period, i get a really itchy bum (usually at night or after being to the toilet) and i also get a really itchy, flaky scalp. are the two connected? i have been to the doctors and have had the de-worming tablets, any help would be appreciated. thanks
