What Causes Itching In Feet?

.my husband has been a long term meth user for 10 years( uses syringes in arm and does not share needles) and he now gets welts on his trunk area and swollen feet. he states when he scratches his feet that they burn and swell more. he will not believe that using meth is the cause and has seen a doctor and they put it down to an allergy, but he didnt tell them he uses meth fequently
