Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
For the past 10 days my butt has been itching alot and squishy and dry I using prep h for weekwhat s should I do. It don t hurt when I go to bathroom it s all liquid since I used a amoyx for ear infection that cleared up about about 3 weeks ago.
First of all, it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, it can be amoxyl induced but persistent up to three weeks is alarming as can cause water and salts loss. Oral rehydration salts and water intake is helpful.
Probiotics may also be required. Stool analysis to rule out infective causes may be needed. Loperamide may be needed for decreasing motility.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
