What Causes Itching In The Buttocks?

For the past two weeks I have had a bit of itchiness toward the top of my buttocks. The other day I took a look to see what was causing the itchiness and I noticed my skin looked bruised. I don t feel pain and I don t remember hurting myself. Also the skin in the area feels dry but not painful.

Hi,

Possible skin dryness or early phase of fissure development.

Primary relief with sitz bath of lukewarm water, anti histamine medications and local soothing agents such as aloe vera gel helps great.
