What Causes Itching In The Ears Upon Swallowing Food?

I can feel something in my ears when I swallow.Almost like a popping sound.Both my ears itch very much on the inside.I have been examined by three ENT specialists and they say nothing is wrong.The last one I went to said my Eustation tubes are negative.I have been like this for over a year with no relief.Can you help me?Some days it is worse.I have used nasal sprays,pills and no relief.My quality of life has gone downhill.Sometimes it makes me feel dizzy when it is at it s worst. As per your query you have itching in the ears upon swallowing food which is due to Eustachian tube dysfunction which is leading to creation of negative pressure inside ears. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist again for proper examination. Doctor may clean the ear to remove ear wax or prescribe antibiotics for at least 10 days along with decongestants. Doctor should also give proper treatment for cold and flu , because these can be contributing factors in causing ear infection. Keep you ears dry , cover them while bathing and keep warm compresses on external ear 2-3 times a day and do warm saline gargles.
