What Causes Itching In The Groin And Buttocks?

hi I have had itching in my testicles and groin and anal for the last few weeks my GI doctor gave me some medication for itching anal since he did a humored lazar procedure but that is not helping me any recommendation I don t see any rash and itching is worsen at nite If I have to see a doctor what type of specialty do I need to see?

Thanks for posting on HCM
The symptoms you present could be caused by a fungal skin infection, allergy/local irritation.I will suggest you see a Dermatologist for examination.You may continue with the itching medication prescribed by your GI doctor or you take an anti-histamine like loratadine while you prepare to see the Dermatologist.I will also recommend good genital hygiene and ironing of dresses and under wears especially the ones you use at night.
