i have been itching for the las t couple oof days it started between my legs not on my peinis. but has now sperad to every were on my body that i have tryed to wash the tiny bumbs will rise up and itch like crazy for about 2 hours then go away but will pop up in another area. what do i have?
Itching in groin area may be most probably due to fungal infection... called tinea cruris,also called ringworm infection. It is cause by fungus. ...... .dermatophytes.
Precipitating factors like perspiration,wetness,overbathing,soap, obesity,DM, HIV or other immunocompromised condition..etc may be responsible.
I would like to suggest following line of treatment....
- antihistaminic like levocetirizine to relive itching - antifungal like ketoconazole or itraconazole - application of antifungal cream - cleansing the area with antiseptic like dettol - have blood tests to rule out internal diseases - avoid precipitating factors
You might improve in few weeks after proper treatment. I hope you got my answer.
