What Causes Itching In The Left Ear Post A Tympanoplasty?

I had tympanoplasty in 2012. It was all good for 2 years but then I started feeling Pain and itching in my operated left ear.Sometimes pus starts flowing out of my ear after infection, generally during cold and running nose.Added one more problem, I started making vibrations/noise/voices using my Tongue​ around the area​ of ear inside the mouth to get relief from itching and most weirdest thing about this is I do this during sleeping also, involuntarily. I already visited number of doctors for last 5 years. They are like your ear is all good but couldn t tell about itching and voices you make. Need help.

It is not a normal if Pus is coming from your means....

Many patients in primary care present with ear pain (otalgia). When the ear is the source of the pain (primary otalgia), the ear examination is usually abnormal.

When the ear is not the source of the pain and itching (secondary otalgia), the ear examination is typically normal.

The cause of primary otalgia is usually apparent on examination; the most common causes are otitis media and otitis externa.

The cause of secondary otalgia is often difficult to determine because the innervation of the ear is complex and there are many potential sources of referred pain.

The most common causes are
1. temporomandibular joint syndrome,
2.pharyngitis,
3.dental disease,
4.cervical spine arthritis.

Please get checked other problems and itching may be relieved...
