What Causes Itching In The Throat And Eyes After Taking Nitrofurantoin?
I started Nitrofurentoin yesterday morning, and yesterday evening I started to develop a sore, itchy, coated throat, itchy ears and an occasional dry cough. I m not sure if I m developing a cold, or having an allergic reaction. These are my only symptons thus far. Thank you

It might be an allergic reaction. As a first line management you can take antihistamines like Pheneramine for symptomatic relief. Do warm saline gargles also. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
