Okay so my throat has been itching for a while now and every time I put my tongue in the back of my throat it feels very bumpy. I decided to take a flashlight and look in the back of my throat and saw dark purplish-red veins on the back of my throat
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of itching in the throat which is leading to bumpy feeling at back of throat seems to be due to sore throat and inflammation leading to pharyngitis. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles 4-5 times a day. You should take milk boiled with a pinch of turmeric as it will boost your immunity. Take throat lozenges after every 4 hours and sip on warm water. Avoid intake of hot and spicy food and cold beverages. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper diagnosis. Start course of antibiotics along with anti-inflammatory medications.
