What Causes Itching In The Urethra?

hi on Saturday I all of a sudden had a weird sensation like something was itchy, or trapped inside my urethra on the underside. it feels like I have to pee it out or something. at times like something is crawling inside. weird. no visible signs, and its never happened before. I thought it would just go away, but I still feel it after a few days.

Hello,

Sometimes urinary stones while they move in the tubes may cause strange sensation to the outer genital area and urethra as well. Also if you have inflammation of the urethra from different reasons like infection or local irritation it may cause that strange sensation.

It might be helpful to drink plenty of fluids to wash the urinary system and this will help with stones and infection and also you might need to see a doctor and have at least a urinalysis to see for changes and possible problems.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
