Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi.
As per your case history your friend is having allergic dermatitis.
My treatment advice is -
1. Avoid contact with such products by wearing full sleeve clothes.
2. Apply a mild topical steroid cream like mometasone cream on the lesions twice daily.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral hydroxyzine, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
