HI. This is a common occurrence in cases where the sex has been taken place after a gap. The vaginal flora changes and the sex after a gap can cause such problems due to an infection.
The best way is to consult a Gynecologist and both of you should take a course of an antibiotic, anti-fungal, Metronidazole and whatever your Gynecologist suggests. Stop sex for a while. Condoms can be used as a good barrier. If this course helps both of you - complete it .
If your Partner is still bot getting a complete relief, ask him an examination by an Urologist and take a course for 3 weeks. Everything will be fine.
Have a great life then
