What Causes Itching On The Body After Consuming Almonds?
After eating a handful of almonds last night, after about an hour or so my lips started swelling and itchy skin. This morning my lips are 3 times its size and hives. Also today is my last day of taking antibiotics amox/cephx. Do I need a shot of cortisone?

The symptoms you are experiencing is an allergic reaction to almonds.
You can take Benadryl 50 mg every 6 hours.
If the hives and itching are not relieved with Benadryl, you will need corticosteroid therapy.
If you develop breathing difficulty or swelling of lips increases please go to the ER immediately.
