my left shin itches. it starts without warning. there is no rash or outward signs. it will itch for 2 or 3 weeks, then goes away for a month or two. It s very hard to keep from scratching it, and sometimes I scratch the skin off. I am a type 2 diabetic, and my a1c at last check was 7.5.
