What Causes Itching On The Legs?

Hello....since April I have been getting what looks like bites.....a bump with a hive like red ring around it. Not one but can be 3/4 in a row.....up to 6 on arms trunk leg itchy....a BX said follicular inflammation/ or bite......had Eire ensephilituce (sp) on my cheek.....I have no answers derm gave me topical cortisone and zyartec

Hi.
As per your case history you are having papular urticaria.
My treatment advice is -
1. Wear full sleeve clothes to avoid further such episodes.
2. Apply a mild topical steroid cream like mometasone cream on the lesions twice daily.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
