What Causes Itching On The Penis?

i have a slight itching on the foreskin of my penis.there is no rashes or anything like that. But one day when i woke up, i found the itch on the outer side of my penis. i applied anti fungal ointment. it seems like it gave some relief. But the itch inside my foreskin still persists. what should i do. Its been 5 days till now.

Hello,

I would advise you to continue with the antifungal cream in the area twice a day for at least 7 days. Using it regularly will help with a fungal infection if it is the cause of the itchiness. You may need to avoid soaps or other chemicals in the are and for hygiene, you can just rinse the area with warm water. Use only cotton underwear.

If no improvement with the antifungal cream or any worsening please see your doctor.
