Hello
Thank You for contacting HCM.
She is suffering from
allergic reaction which is causing
rash & itching. If you had told the age then it would have been more easy to discuss. If a patient comes to my clinic with same complaints then i would recommend following things:
> First & most important thing is to rule out the cause of
allergy. Some of the most common are dust, pollen, insect bite, allergy to some particular plant, food, etc.
> After finding the cause you need to AVOID it.
> She can wear long boots, gloves & cover her face with mask while working in garden.
> For itch she can take citrizine at night.
> For repeated allergy i would recommend
montelukast once daily for one month.
Report to hospital if:
> Condition remain same after 2-3 days
> Any unusual symptom appears
> Condition deteriorates.
> There is difficulty in breathing.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow
up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy
to answer your questions. If you do not have any clarifications, you can
close the discussion and rate the answer.
Wishing her good health.
