What Causes Itching Sensation All Over The Body And Sore Throat?

Hello. I am female, 62. For the last three weeks Ihave had sore throat, swollen glands, a fine red rash and terrible itching sensation all over, including the base of my scull. No dandruff, no temperature no change in cosmetics or washing solution. I have been to doctor. He gave me some throat number and pain pills. I m miserable. Suggestions?

if no skin lesion is evident, then the diagnosis may vary widely. from liver disease to kidney disease, all may cause itching. but most common cause is dermatitis and allergies. add anti histaminics to your medications. this will provide symptomatic relief. also I suggest a dose of anti helminthic drugs like tab.albendazole for deworming as worm infestation may sometimes lead to itching.
