What Causes Itching Sensation And Red Circles On Vaginal Area?
It started in September in Delhi. My room mate had itchy problems but I never took a look. She said she used her sister s towel and maybe got infected as she had it. I don t know if we got things mixed up and I got infected as well. I ve left Delhi and in October as it did not go away and spread, I saw a gynae. He prescribed those meds. But now, in November, the red circles are not going away and spread.Upper and lower and on the outside vagina. In total-5.Some big, some small. The doctor said it was not an STD but a yest/fungal infection. But it only seem to spread...please help.

Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely due to fungal infectionTinea corporis. If you send a picture then it will be more helpful in identifying. For such cases in my patients i usually advise anti fungal ointments like miconazole or terbinafine for local application and fluconazole tablet to take orally. If it is spreading all around using ketoconazole soap is also helpful. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
