What Causes Itching Sensation And Redness On Arms,breasts And Groin Area?

I have had severe stinging itchy redness under my arms, under breasts and in groin area.I have been to 4 dermatologist It was first treated as a fungal infection with a little success but then was prescribed cortisone cream, antibacterial cream.........nothing is working now they dont know what to do

Hi,

As per your query you have itching sensation and redness on arms,breasts and groin area which seems to be due to contact dermatitis, allergic reaction due to detergent, soap, fragrance and could be an insect sting.

Identifying of trigger factor is very important in this case. For now take benadryl twice a day. You should apply calamine lotion to avoid itching and apply cold compresses. You should avoid use of any cosmetic product. I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may prescribe antihistamine, corticosteroid ointment and may give adrenaline shot.
