General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Itching and stomach pain during Hepatitis B might indicate obstruction to the outflow of bile. Conditions associated with Conjugated Hyperbilirubinemia needs to be ruled out. This is generally caused by Cholestasis or Obstruction to the outflow of bile.
Kindly get Bilirubin Levels in blood checked - Total, Conjugated (Direct) and Unconjugated (Indirect). Also check for Serum alkaline phosphatase levels.
Get an ultrasound abodomen done to know status of liver and gall bladder.
Kindly consult Physician for opinion with reports.
Wish you good health.
