What Causes Itching Sensation And Tenderness On The Elbow?

Had an itchy elbow and then tenerness...discovered a small pimple there and popped it. Within an hour or so my whole elbow was swollen, hot, and so tender to the touch I could barely do it...It feels like the bone is even affected. Today its a little better but I do feel feverish. What could it be?

Hi,

Noted your history about itchy elbow, small pimple that you popped followed by severe swelling and tenderness.
This indicates that it was a small abscess which by your popping turned into spread of infection around so fast.
Fever also indicates that same.
Hence I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Rush to the ER or your regular Doctor for clinical evaluation,m investigations of blood for CBC, diabetes and as required.
Get started on proper antibiotic therapy, anti-inflaammatory with painkiller properties.
Give rest to the affected part.
Dressing with sterile gauze and Liquid Povidone Iodine.
