What Causes Itching Sensation On Buttocks?

Hello, I have an itch on my butt crack. It s near the top and on the sides, not on the cheeks or around the hole. It s been itchy for a few days now, and I don t know why. It started itching one night and hasn t gone away. I shower once a night and have been eating what I normally eat. I haven t had sex recently either. When the itching started, I noticed that I ve been sweating around that area too.

Hello.

The accumulation of sweat and dirt in the region can cause irritation and the region being where it is, makes it difficult for you to visually examine. Taking those facts into consideration I would recommend a visit to your doctor for a visual examination and treatment accordingly.

But in my opinion a yeast or fungal infection is possible due to the region being damp most times.

Best wishes
