General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The incidence of dark red skin of face particularly after shower or bath indicates significant underlying pathology. The most common cause of such condition is seemingly to be multiple sclerosis, an auto immune disorder. Kindly consult your primary care physician who may refer you to an expert immune specialist if needed for further work up and manage accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
