What Causes Itchy And Fluid Filled Bumps Between The Toes Of A Child?

My 10 Year old son woke up in the middle of the night with clear, what looks like fluid filled tiny bumps inbetween his third and fourth toes that are extremely itchy and he can t sleep. He also has tonsillitis right now and I have no idea if it s related but there are no doctors open right now and he can t sleep. Is there anything I can do?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms of your son can be related to a fungal infection.

I suggest using antifungal cream for local application.

I also suggest to maintain good hygiene and use cotton socks.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
