General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Allergy to insect bite can present as rashes, blisters which can be small or large. Itching can be severe in some patients. I would suggest you to take antihistamines and cortico-steroids to reduce itching and inflammation. Mild steroid cream can be applied locally to reduce itching.

Severe form of allergy can present as breathlessness or facial swelling which is known as anaphylactic shock. Immediate treatment with adrenaline and antihistamine should be given. Prevention of mosquito bite by using repellents and net should be followed.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
