Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Itchy And Painful Bump On The Buttocks After An Injury?
I had a horse camp last week, and it was very hot and I was in a saddle for hours on end. I got in the shower and a spot on my butt began burning. I looked at it, and it s a quite large, flat, red area. Liquid seems to come out of it. I ve cleaned it a few times but no change. More smaller bumps sort of like acne are popping up around it. It is itchy and hurts. It s large too, as big as a quarter or bigger. At first I thought maybe the saddle I was in was rubbing me the wrong way, but I ve been out of horse camp for a few days and it hasn t gotten any better. Any ideas?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, it could be allergic condition you must be having, if I would be doctor of this case then I would suggest to apply Beclomethasone three times in day, here care need to be taken for infection and for confirmation keep eye on it, if is puss formation and inflammation then it could be infection then may need anti-biotic hope this information helps.
