What Causes Itchy And Painful Bumps Around Earlobe?

My son came home from school today and I noticed his earlobe was red. When I looked closer I could see tiny bumps that looked like they were filled with puss all over it. He says it itches and hurts when its touched. He didn t go outside today because it was raining. What could this be?

Hi,
It seems that there might be having some poisonous insect bite giving rise this allergic reaction.
If reashes are on both ear lobes then there might be having some internal allergy or food allergy.
Nothing to worry, give him anti allergic medicine like Benadryl or cetrizine for a day or two.
Apply Calamine lotion or triple action cream.
Ok and take care.
