What Causes Itchy And Red Bumps On The Body?

I have red bumps break on my body, a few everyday, itchy, it gets bigger when I scratch it. arm, waistline, back, chest, one or a few at a time. It started about two month ago, stopped about 2 weeks, and come again. It looks like flea bite, but I haven t see any in my bedroom. And a lot of times it starts itchy but nothing can be seen, after scratching, it gets bigger and then look like flea bites. I have a dog who got flea but treated 2 month ago. I have washed bedding, did everything. We have hardwood floor with a couple of rugs.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to an allergic reaction.

I recommend using antihistamines daily such as Zyrtec.

I also recommend using Hydrocortisone cream for local application.

Cool showers can also be helpful.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
