General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* As per my clinical experience, the itchy black spots on thighs with numbness and cold sensation may be part of thrombosis in subcutaneous vessels as there is underlying high BP and diabetes condition.

* There are all high chances of platelet aggregation and produce thrombosis in the subcutaneous vessels or chronic micro vascular damage from high blood sugar.

* In my clinic, after clinical examination, I do suggest

- doppler both lower limbs
- coagulation profile with prothrombin time, aPTT, bleeding time along with platelet count.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
