What Causes Itchy Blisters On The Body Along With Chills?

56 year old WF with sporadic areas on body with herpetic clusters x5, slightly itchy. x3 weeks. Each day or so another cluster appears. no cold sx, slight chills, no temp. feeling some hot flash type sweating. + fatigue, 20 pound weight gain last 9 months. 1 week of extreme joint pain. 4 days of conjuctivitis, + headache. Had very mild episode of coxsakie in December which consisted of cluster of herpetic spots on gums and some area on palm. Under some stress. CBC, CMP, LYME, Epstein Barr all WNL. (+ for past EBV) TSH 9.5, endocrine will adjust. Folate slightly low. Last summer had a mild occurrence of shingles over eye.

Hi,

Your symptoms seem to be related to Herpes Zoster. I suggest you to use anti viral medications orally. You can also use antiviral creams for local relief. Use antihistamines such as Cetirizine 1 tablet a day to relief the itching.
