What Causes Itchy Bug Like Bumps On Labia Majora During Pregnancy?

dear doctor , ma girl friend is 25 and 6 weeks pregnant . however she has developed itchy bug like bumps on two sides of the majora .we are confused and don't know how to deal with it. could it be a hormonal thing or an STI . please give me a solution.
