Hi, I just recently had arthroscopic surgery surgery done on my left knee May 18th 2017, over the past 3 days I have started to notice bumps forming above the knee, on the knee and below the knee. They are red bumps a bit itchy as well. I do not have any fever and other general feelings of being sick. I do have a good deal of pain still within the knee and it is still slightly swollen. I am icing it every two hours for about 15 minutes and am keeping it elevated. I do have a thyroid condition as well. I have spoken with the nurse who works for my doctor and she did not seem concerned but to me it is concerning, I did not expect a rash to develop, I also did not expect to be in pain for the length of time I have been in. I was to have surgery for a torn meniscus, however, once inside everything was healthy and a cyst or amniotic growth was found floating deep behind my knee. My question is, is the rash normal could this be related to the medication they use on the knee during surgery or is this apart of the healing process. I do not go back to see my doctor until the 31st. If you could give me some insight on this it would ease a lot of concern and worry I have. I am most concern over infection, but have kept the area clean and shower regular. Sincerely, Stacey
