Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I have been experiencing mild vaginal itchy for about 4 days now. I am able to see small, under the skin bumps near the vaginal entrance but they are not hard nor do they specifically itch. The itch is around the vulva and close to the vaginal entrance with a slight burn. Earlier this week it was a little drier than usual with no smelling or odd discharge. I had unprotected sex 8 weeks ago and projected sex 2 weeks ago. I have also been off pill birth control for a little over a month. I am just wondering other than the regular genital herpes what this could be.
Hi Welcome It requires examination to say what it is exactly. But based on your information I feel it might be folliculitis. So wash the area with cool water and antiseptic soap and apply neosporin ointment. Take care
