What Causes Itchy Bumps On The Body After A Gastric Bypass Surgery?
I m a 55 year old female who had gastric bypass surgery 11 years ago. In the past couple of months, I ve noticed that if I scratch an itch, and there s a small bump/pimple, or tiny scratch, I start bleeding.. to the point where I m afraid to scratch anything!! Yesterday the upper part of my back was itching, but as soon as I scratched it, right away I realized that it started bleeding. Fortunately I was at home and was able to change my top to a black one so that the one I was wearing wouldn t become stained. It s gotten to the point where I m afraid to scratch anything that itches!! Thank you for your help, Linda
